Render gives a property a clean, modern look, but it's porous and stains over time. Dirt, algae, moss and air pollution leave green or black streaks that look bad and, left alone, can damage the surface.
Growth and grime hold moisture against the render, which can lead to cracking and decay. In older or poorly insulated walls, that trapped moisture can show up as damp inside.
We remove the organic growth and surface grime with a low-pressure soft wash, restoring the render's original colour without harming the material.

How a render cleaning job runs
Survey and quote
We look at your render type and how we'll reach the upper walls. Most two-storey homes need only ladders or a mobile tower. If scaffolding is needed, we'll tell you in advance and include it in the quote.
The soft wash
We clean at low pressure, which lifts algae, moss, dirt and pollution without the damage or colour fade that high-pressure jet washing can cause.
Biocide treatment
We apply a biocide to kill anything left behind, so the growth doesn't come back quickly.

Is render cleaning safe for coloured or delicate finishes like K-Rend?
Yes. We use a soft-wash method designed for delicate render. Unlike high-pressure jet washing, it lifts stains without damaging the surface or fading the colour.
What causes the green or black stains on my render?
Usually algae, moss, lichen or air pollution. We remove them, then apply a biocide to stop them coming back quickly.
How long does render cleaning last?
In most cases two to three years, depending on where you live. Properties near trees, in shade or on the coast may see growth return sooner. We can advise on treatments that help it last longer.
Do you need scaffolding to clean render?
Not always. On most two-storey homes we reach the upper walls with ladders or mobile towers. If scaffolding is needed, we'll tell you in advance and include it in the quote.
Do you clean render on commercial properties?
