This policy explains how Blue Shield Cleaning Ltd (“Blue Shield”, “we”) uses the personal details you give us through this website. We are the data controller for those details.

What we collect

Only what you type into our quote form: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you're interested in and anything you tell us about your property. If you call or email us, we keep a record of that conversation.

What we use it for

To reply to you, arrange a survey and give you a quote, and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We never sell your details or use them for marketing you haven't asked for.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security, for a short period.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted after 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep your details for as long as we need them for the work, its guarantees and our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, or object to how we use them. Email hello@blueshieldcleaning.com or call 020 3051 2124. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
